Outdoor Training and Team Adventure

Outdoor has become an umbrella term for a wide variety of program packages, and is also used to identify a collection of different trainings. Concordia strives to provide varied programs for its clients, but at the same time emphasizes that our programs are broken down into three basic categories.

1. Our outdoor trainings, similar to traditional ones but placed in a natural setting, are not only about outdoor experience. They are also about processing these experiences, about drawing the conclusions relevant to the organization, and applying them in real life scenarios.
2. Team adventure programs encompass events which primarily focus on gaining pleasant experience, on having a great time together. These include competitive games, tours in the mountains or along waters, either on foot or on four wheels – anything that provides the group with an exciting mutual experience.
3. The "adrenalin" programs, where the extreme experience is in focus. These situations have a strong team building effect, and can increase the self-recognition as well.

Our outdoor programs

• use metaphors from nature to assist deep, empirical learning, 
• can satisfy client needs either as stand-alone events or as part of an organizational or management development process,
• are entirely custom-made, ie. instead of prefab programs we only carry out individualized programs prepared on the basis of preliminary needs analysis,
• use Concordia’s professional experience of over 23 years to incorporate indoor and outdoor elements in our development processes.

Our trainings are in fact a learning process incorporated into the life of the given organization. Therefore we usually take a certain group of our clients’ staff (eg. top and middle management, or the entire sales department) out of their working environment for a few days.

The safety of our program is ensured by the following:

• it is always the participant who decides how far he or she can, and will, go in each activity,
• the trainer will only launch the activity if it is fully safe to do so,
• we employ highly trained, reliable experts
• we use professional technical tools and methods,
• all participants are fully insured for the duration of the event,
• our entire staff is trained to provide first aid.
